Many times, tourists who visit us have a day with no set activities, unsure where to go or what places to visit on short one-day tours. On this occasion, we were lucky enough to meet Georgia and her friend, whom we invited on a one-day tour in Alajuela. We headed to a local swimming resort (balneario) in Carrillos Alto de Alajuela. A beautiful place and a very affordable trip to consider. The resort features a restaurant, an Olympic-sized pool, a children’s pool, a natural pool, lovely green areas, a soccer field, a camping area, ranchos (thatched huts) for hanging out and barbecuing, restrooms, walking trails, and finally, a river with its own waterfall. This place also features water slides that fall into natural pools of water. Thanks to agent Eliseo, who helped us this time with transportation (free of charge), and to the good vibes of Georgia, who visited us from Germany, and her friend from the USA. 🌼 🌈🌄 Photos by fradPter 📸
